From 2012 to 2024 I was the Founder and Chief Executive of the Teacher Development Trust, the national charity for professional development in schools. In that role I chaired the DfE’s Teachers’ Professional Development Expert Group (2015–16), helped shape the National Professional Qualifications framework, and grew TDT into a nationally recognised organisation working with thousands of teachers and school leaders each year.
